Which dinosaur is actually worth it?

Every dino's egg cost and income per minute, so you can compare before you spend. Competitors ship static lists — this table actually sorts.

FAQ

What does "payback time" mean in this table?

Egg cost divided by income per minute — how long a dino takes to earn back what you paid for it. Lower is better if you want to compound Cash quickly; a Legendary with a longer payback can still out-earn everything else once it clears that window.

Should I always buy the dino with the fastest payback?

Early on, yes — fast payback compounds into more eggs sooner. Once you have a stable income, income-per-minute matters more, since you're no longer racing to afford the next tier up.

Where do these cost and income numbers come from?

They're community-sourced from a third-party wiki, cross-checked against the numbers we've been able to verify in-game ourselves. We flag this table as 'last updated' rather than 'confirmed forever' because Roblox devs rebalance costs after updates.

Why does the table only show 12 dinosaurs?

That is every dinosaur currently in My Dino Park as of the last update we checked. We add new rows the same day a dino is confirmed live, not before.
